FollowAvery Viseing nearly a decade as chief editor of Commercial Carrier Journal, Vise served as executive director of trucking research & analysis for Randall-Reilly, a leading media and information company serving the trucking industry. In that role, he conducted internal and client market research projects involving surveys, focus groups and individual interviews. He also led TruckGauge, the company’s trucking economic news and analysis offering, and served as senior editor, industry analysis for CCJ and a columnist for CCJ and Truck Parts & Service magazines.

In addition to heading up TransAvise, Vise currently serves as president and chief operating officer of TransComply (www.transcomply.com), which helps small trucking operations with safety and compliance programs and business best practices. Before joining TransComply in September 2015, Vise was manager of public relations for Volvo Trucks North America.

Vise is a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., with majors in government and history and resides with his family in suburban Birmingham, Alabama.
